Free Photoshop software??

Hello

anyone know where I can download free photoshop type software thats easy to use.

I want to make some invitations for luca's birthday party and some cards and wanted to be able to change photos etc and i dont have any software to do that..

paint .net is free and quite good. then there is Picasa and if you register on Flickr as a good photo hosting site then you can do stuff on there as well!

Serif do a free thingy but they are really good nearly as good adobe photoshop, you can buy their package which is a lot lot cheaper than adobe beleive me!!!! think it's about £50

I have been using GIMP (google it) but its very complicated. I used to have photoshop CS3 and loved it but hard drive died and so did CS3

I know it`s not free but the Printmaster series is really cheap and very easy to use. The party pack costs around a fiver

I had photoshop CS3 and I lost mine too, lets just say I got it from a torrent

Back on topic, there is a thing called Gimpshop that aims to be similar in interface to Photoshop. It's, of course, based on The Gimp which is a great tool once you've learned a few tricks but steep learning curve! The Gimp stands for Gnu Image Manipulation Program, BTW. nothing whatsoever to do with dubious recreational activities...
