My boy is home Something did show up on the x rays and that was a swelling on his hip, no HD More anti-inflams and another visit in 2 weeks in the hope it has all calmed down. Muscle/soft tissue inflammed.. caused by - will we ever really know!! Thanks for all your support whilst i have been a blithering wreck xxxxxx

Tracy I am sorry you are having problems with Archie.
These kind of injuries can take time to settle down in dogs and humans . Go gently and Archie should be his old self soon .

Only just seen this thread. Poor Archie, and poor you! It's awful seeing your dog in pain and feeling helpless. Glad IRS not HD! And so happy he's improving. Long may it continue!

Well the improvement was short lived I'm sorry to say. Archie was back at the vets friday and they carried out a nurological test along with blood tests.

We hope to have the blood results on monday. The vet has also suggested a possible MRI.
