No heating!

So is anyone like me, not put on their heating at all yet?

I have not had the heating on at all since early last year.

Nope, definitely not like you at all as I can't do with being cold in the house. In fact, today, we've got the storage heaters giving out heat and we also put the calor fire on for a couple of hours this afternoon.

Did I mention that I can't do with being cold in the house?

We have had our's on too, usually for a couple of hours in the morning and then have the solid fuel fire burning during the evening

Nothing quite like sitting in front of an open fire and watching the logs burning,I don't need a tv

Just for a couple of hours in the mornings as I tend to be up by 5.30 then we light the coal fire later in the day

It is not cold in my house, actually I lied, I DO have heating, the electric towel rain in my bathroom is always on, but no radiators in my bedrooms, sitting room or kitchen.

I have rarely shut my patio doors either except in the recent winds and driving rain.

I do have very good cavity wall insulation, double glazing and ultra thik loft insulation, though.

Another very small electricity bill again this year.

I hate being cold. I also hate the thought
of my son being cold. I have generally had the heating on low so far but have whopped it up the last couple of days.

It has been such a mild winter so far that I have not felt the need to put the heating on.

If it snows next week, things will be different

Mine hasn't been on at all either, I too have a very well insulated house, well I would have if I ever closed the windows
In fact it barely went on last year either and when it did it was probably only an hour a day.

Maybe geography has something to do with it. We've had more freezing cold than mild winter days.
