Hip Scores-how long?

Just wondered how long people have waited for their hip scores to come through?

The BVA used to sit once a month to assess what scores they have, but I think with more scores being submitted, they are now being assessed more regularly, so a few weeks I think is the rate at the moment.

I`ve seen people post to say they have waited months however the BVA state that results are usually sent to the vet who submitted the paperwork and films within 3 weeks.

This is the procedure [ pdf format ]

I waited 6 weeks for Bron but Dice was done just after Chrismas and took 10 weeks, even rang the vets as I thought they'd lost the plates

Hi I paid about £200 just for the plates and getting them sent for scoring. That didnt include the anestetic as she was getting that for something else and I just decided to get the hips and elbows done at the same time. I think there are places it is a lot cheaper and I have heard there is a place in the midlands that once a month do a clinic just for hips, elbows and eye testing and it only costs £120 for all 3.
