Every night with Cassie, upside down with her head hanging down out of the basket! I wouldn't be happy if she didn't do it, coz it's normal practice for her!!

oh yes if you think thats not norm you should see some of the shapes my 10mnth old boxer gets into beginning to think she is double jointed ps holly is a cracker . ppps she must be more comfy and relaxed that way cant see her being in any pain or she prob wudn ly that way

Yes, our two (Both Newfies) sleep like this frequently (Like Cocker Mum said it seems to be when in deep sleep mostly)

They also often have all four legs in the air which looks really cute

My own personal theory (For big dogs anyway) is that it completely relieves the weight of the body from the legs and must, therefore, be relaxing.

Just my own theorising, still waiting for one of them to tell me it's true

Even if she is laying on her belly she still throws her head back if you can imagine it doubleing back on her own back, so to speek. she is not from this plannet I swear, mabey as she is very compact and has a short stocky neck it just looks worse, will try to get a photo when she is on her tummy doing it,,,,,mabey she is just scared she misses someit happening behind her lol

I have heard it's brilliant for their digestion too if they sleep upside down!!

wonder if its the same for us off to hang the pups up on the washing line, seemed to be a bitty loose this morning at torrrlett time, oh ment to hang them upside down,,,,,,, I wish I had a whirrllly gig now.
