Fecal sample pot?

Im taking a fecal sample in to my vet on Friday if she still has loose poop before her vaccinations. I only have urine pots, can I use one of those? and how do I get it in? lol

It'll be fine in one of those.

Just pick up the poo in a poo bag and drop a bit in is how I would do it.

They really don't need a huge amount to test

Or use a clean flat lollystick type stick to just smear a bit. That's how they do the human tests. You just smear a bit onto a card. As said - they don't need a lot.

My vets must love me - I usually scoop it up in a bag, knot it and drop it off!! I bet they say "here comes that crazy English lady with her bag of poop for us"

When I took some to the vets from a puppy with the squits I picked it up in a paper towel, then put it in a plastic bag.

No need for this now.. Just rung the vets and she's in for a free puppy healthcheck tomorrow. No need to take a sample in as they think its from diet change

If it's a new pup I recall reading somewhere that the change in WATER supply will often cause tummy upset and so on. Not just changing diet. And that it's something most people don't think about. But is highly likely that the water will be different from where they were before you got them.
