Doggy poo

hi eveyone just got our lab 5 wks ago first dog i,ve had in almost 30 yrs he,s had the runs for 2 days had him to the vet not dehydrated happy still playful but not right fasted him for 12hrs gettin boiled water then small quanties of rice and chicken every 2-3 hrs should i return to vet or try imodium murphy is 15 wks old no tempreture either and on pro kolin

I would phone the breeder and see what food he was on. A vet check-up is a good idea anyway with a new pup. Best be on the safe side.

he was checked by the vet on new years eve and kept in and released in the morning still the same

Might just have been the change of food... mine had the runs really awful for about 4 days as I did not like the food the breeder gave them so had to change it immediately but they were fine after that...

It is quite likely that the change of water upset your dog, however it now appears he has an infection and you now have the correct medication.

Please do not give immodium to your dog, it is not suitable.
