So sorry to hear of this

He looked like a really special old fella, well done for putting your feelings aside and finishing it for him.

Run free Russ but remember to wait for your mummy!

That dog never waited for me in his life!!! I once stood for 4 hours in the freezing cold on the old railway track while he did his own thing in the fields!! He came back when he was ready, without a care in the world, to exactly the same place I had last seen him. That boy had character, he hated kisses and cuddles, and he grumbled and chuntered and put me in casualty twice, but I wouldn't have swopped him for the world.

Just waiting for his ashes to come back and then he's home again.

Oh so so sorry for your baby going to see the rainbow bridge brigade, am at a loss to say anything as still raw from Barney. But take with you have the knowledge Russ is in the best place ever. Barney will be giving him a run for his money no doubt! They will be running through the fields of clover as we speak. My heart goes out to you!

Thank you so much everyone for your kind words. It has been a miserable few days since the old lads departure but I am going right now to pick up his ashes and bring him home.I will feel better when he is back where he belongs. Many thanks for your kindness.
