Just had another fall

Bin men came so I went outside in case the pick-up guy was scared of Pereg, who was hiding behind me but rather vocal. Was on my crutches as only 2m from my door and the bin men do not have to drag my wheelie bin to the truck, just open the lid and take out the small bag, but Pereg somehow caught one of my crutches and I crashed down on my back on the concrete.

Think I landed on my butt and right elbow then hand, and then the back of my head clonked down on the concrete but I do not think too hard. Will no doubt get a headache later. Am wearing a 3/4 sleeve length loose cotton top but my right elbow is badly and bleeding. Not sure about the rest of me although my wrist does not feel too good.

Bit embarrassed as someone on a huge tractor/diggy thingy was passing - maybe from the workmen? and he stopped and jumped out to see if I was OK and helped me up.

I hate falling and it is far worse when someone sees me fall.

I know the feeling. Hope you have done any serious damage

I was out shopping in a nearby town when my left knee gave way & I went down. Much to my embarrassment I was helped to my feet by two elderly ladies & one hubby. They all must have been around 80 years old !! I was very grateful, I must add.

Oh Malka you are just recovering from the rainbow of colours over your eye.
I do hope you will be ok lucky that someone was around really even though it is embarrassing. I fell when I was 6 months pregnant with Michael it was snowy and I moved up the town after being told by Gorden to stay put while he took one lot of shopping to the car and then he would come back for me and the other bags. Some people picked me up.
Never been one for doing as I am told. He saw the cuts on my knees that night when I sat down.
I got into trouble I can tell you.

If you are able try to sit and have a rest the shock may make you feel unwell.

Aw Malka, I'm sorry you've had a fall. You must be feeling quite shaken. Sit down, put something on your elbow and have a drink - tea maybe, if you drink it? Perhaps you should get the wrist looked at if it still doesn't feel right.
Hugs.
