milk?

When alfie was under the weather i had to tempt him to eat and i'm now finding he's turning his nose up at the dried complete food,(j.w.b)so i've been putting a tiny amount of milk in it and he's now gobbling it up,is this ok?or is milk a bit dodgy?think i read somewhere that goats milk was alright, just don't know about cows, his tummy is fine, and i give him a bit of fresh meat and a couple of bowls of veg a week(which i did before he got off colour)he's just being a bit more fussy.

Will he eat it if you use water or stock instead of milk? A little milk probably won't harm but I wouldn't want it to become a regular thing. If you think he is just being fussy for no good reason (i.e. he is now fit & well), remove what he doesn't eat and give him nothing else until the next mealtime. Repeat this procedure until he realises that he has to eat what you give him or go hungry.

A little probably won't hurt we got into the habit of giving it each day and after a couple of years our old Benny had bladder stones from too much calcium

As SB says, try adding water or stock instead of milk.
