Wow, if I am reading this right they are trying to say the Yorkshire Terrier is related to the pigeon? The Chihuahua is actually a type of large rodent bred for to resemble a canine?

Intersting read if nothing else.

Very interesting
The study found that several diminutive breeds had been independently created around the world from a variety of other animals, including the Lhasa apso (Tibetan snow rabbit), Pekingese (Chinese water rat), Shih Tzu (stoat), and Yorkshire Terrier (pigeon).
O.K. now where is genicticist when I need one. How is the above possible?

"The Watley Review is dedicated to the production of articles completely without journalistic merit or factual basis, as this would entail leaving our chairs or actually working."

It is just taking the p.!! Very funny though I thought.

I've read a few of these DNA articles, but not a dog? Never read that one. That is uproariously FUNNY!! :smt037 I was bitten by a chiuawa. LOL I don't know. Some of this DNA stuff is conflicting with historical accounts. Not sure what I believe. I just saw a show that traced DNA routes of man, and it's said that EVERYONE originated in Africa. I'm not sure I believe that. I think they may have a missing link to the puzzle...
