I am sorry to hear this, you must all be so worried. It could be a number of things and a phone call to the vet would be the most sensible thing to get advice if you can't take him until tomorrow.
It sounds like a snapped cruciate ligament but the same symptoms would show for a number of injuries.

Hi Thank you for all your well wishes for Bert we are back from the vets he has to go in or xrays in the morning they think he has fractured his ankle

Poor Bert and poor you I'm sure you'll be dreading leaving him tomorrow but he has to have it fixed and when you get him home it'll be day of one of his healing period .... the sooner the better, as the sooner you'll get Bert back fit and running. Lots of healing {{{vibes}}} being sent Bert's way for tomorrow and lots of ((hugs)) for you.

I know,it's awful ....but while he's there you'll have time to do housework etc and be free to give him your full attention when he comes home.Spend the day having loads of gentle cuddles He's going to be o.k (( hugs ))

Thanks everyone my cousin has just found out he's in the vets tomorrow and is coming to hold my hand lol she has even found a baby sitter and dog stter fr hers lol think she may know me to well lol

That's very kind of her and good to have someone with you Always takes more out of the owner than dog...the joys of parenthood!!
