I think Pereg was hungry...

... because she has just eaten a delivery note/receipt for a delivery which arrived half an hour ago.

Well she has not actually eaten it as such, just left white confetti all over the floor while I was working out where to put the stuff. [Rather a lot and very bulky]

I was so pleased with the delivery guy - as he was unloading his van he asked if he could say hello to Pereg, who was rushing about excitedly [she loves visitors who smile at her], and when I said yes he came towards her and bent down with his hand outstretched for her to go to him.

Unfortunately he put the delivery note/receipt on top of my keyboard and it must have blown off onto the floor without me noticing. But she looks so happy and so pleased with herself that I do not have the heart to scold her.

Who needs a shredding machine when you've got a dog? When i have a dog food delivery, Saba goes through the packaging looking for the delivery note to shred it, while Frodo tries to get into the sacks of kibble. Which neatly sums up the difference between a pointer and a lab cross!

PS Not that we're counting, but isn't this day 17??

Not that I am counting either, but today is Day 18...
