Tarn is a super dog I love him to bits and to think I almost had him PTS just a couple weeks ago (long story) I didnt want to pull him about hand stripping him, its not necessary in this case. I think the oldies or poorly ones of all breeds do better clipped as its far less hassle for them and for us.

I never thought I could love terriers any more than I do, but he is a corker, esp with his new trim! Very dapper.... and as you say so much more practical for an oldie.

He's cracking, Dawn. His groom is really nice. He looks like he's pleased with it too! Like you say, much better for the golden oldies.
