Scott - 2 year old GSD cross

This gorgeous little lad had such a rough start in life and just when we thought his life was just getting better... BANG! his owner has decided to work away and so he is back with us again....

So here's what I know about scott.....

when Scott was about 6 months old, we were contacted by a rescue in Warrington to say that they had a little dog on death row that was due to be put to sleep the following day and could I help? Of course I could !! So back Scotty came to stay with us until there was room at the kennels for him. By the time Scott left, he was house trained, lead trained, socialised and taught basic commands (although we never managed to succeed with 'down'...) Scott loved my eldest daughter and would sleep with her in her room (usually with a teddy stuck in his mouth that he sucked).

He then stayed at the kennels for a whole 24 hours when his new owners came for him. A nice couple, who later learn't that scotty loved postmen! So back Scott came within a couple of months. So again we worked with him and he was then homed to someone who lived on their own, had no children and no other pets and also wanted a dog that would bark at the sound of an intruder, but wouldn't alow Scotty near to the letterbox.... Perfect!!! He had been with this man for over a year now, he has even visited us quite a few times too to let us know how much of a gentleman he can be :smt049. But sadly, his new owner now has to work away from home and Scotty can't go with him

So he's back....

And before you ask, if I didn't have the 5 dogs, 3 kids, numerous smaller animals, and a disabled hubby... YES I'd have him, in a flash... but lets face it, I'd never be able to give him 1 on 1 which isn't fair...

So do you think you'd be able to give Scotty that TRUE and Committted forever home?

Scott is neutered, fully vaccinated, wormed and frontined.

Scotty would probably be ok with your pup Bhodi, but we couldn't say how he'd be with cats as neither us or the kennels have a cattery to test the dogs. I can however confirm that he's Ok with rabbits (ie. he won't bother them in a hutch), since at the time we did have 2 lionheads. We also had a hamster too, and he never bothered about him either.
He is a lovely little lad and seems to have matured somewhat since we last saw him. He's still a little cutie though :smt049

Scott is still waiting for his forever home. He is such a great dog too, walks to heal, reacts to basic verbal commands etc...

Scott has had quite a few enquiries, but only one home so far has seemed suitable. Sadly this wouldn't have worked for scott as he only bonded to one member of the family immediatley. If you are a committed family and would like a very devoted companion, then Scott is the one for you. He will need a little time to adjust to his new surroundings and learn to trust his new pack leaders.
