Bleeding gums while chewing

Earlier on tonight, Molly and Roxy had half a Hi Life Special Care dental chew.

Roxy chewed happily, with no problems. However, I noticed on Molly's chew that there was a wee bit of blood on it. She was still chewing away so I just left her to it, she would stop if she wanted to or felt it sore.

She has chews all the time with no bleeding, so I'm thinking the chew just caught her gum and it started to bleed.

Anyone else experienced this and did your dog have any gum problems after it? Just wondering. Thanks.

I think your right she probs just caught the inside of her cheek. Dont worry dogs teeth and gums are not like ours, as long as she is fit and healthy and her teeth and gums are fine
