I was wondering whether Rianna is now back to her old self. I am sure Casey will help her too!

Thanks to you all for continuing to ask about her.

Moyra yes I'm pleased to say that today (One week after the incident) she is pretty much 100% as she was before.

I spoke to the vet yesterday and she said finish the course of tablets she's on (carprofen) that will be Monday, and then short gentle walks for a few days building up to her normal walk which given her age is usually not too far.

But she's eating well, and did go back and lie down where the incident occured which she hasn't done for a week, almost like she's thinking that was a bad place, well it was in a way.

skinny boy - I like it

Yes he went from 44 Kg (6 stone 13 lbs) when we picked him up and is now 56 Kg (8 stone 11 lbs) so we are pleased. I'm also pleased that I still remember my schoolboy maths for the conversion

He's a wonderful dog but under the rules of the Newfoundland rescue in England he is only legally our dog after 3 months. My wife says that it will take the combined efforts of the entire American Seals and the UK SAS to take him back

I figured skinny boy suited him since he needed to put on so much weight. Glad he's doing better. Funny thing about your conversion skills is that I'm American, so neither KG nor Stone do me much good. I need lbs lol. In any case, he's not going anywhere and we shan't be sending the military after him.

44 kgs converts into 97 lbs.
56 kgs converts into 123 lbs give or take an ounce. All done with the help of google. Couldn't of possibly done it without.

That's a good increase he is making Harvey.

Haha Lynn. I can't do it without Google, either. I know Nigredo was about 41 kg when I weighed him with the KG setting switched on the scale by accident a bit ago. 41 KG is about 91-ish LB so I try to use that as a guide. But as I fail in math, i usually end up needing Google anyway. Good to see him putting on some good weight.
