Puppy has only had 1 wee today, should i be worried??

My JRT puppy usually wees 6-7 times a day but today he has only gone once! It wasnt huge or anything either

He is drinking normally but has just been laying down all day and he is usually a bit energetic for an hour or so then rests then runs around some more. Should i be worried?

I'd say this is something that needs checking pretty urgently. If he's lethargic as well, there could be a connection. A phone call to your vet i think?

Unless you think you may have missed the event then yes it needs to be seen by a vet, even if you are wrong it is not worth taking the risk. Is the pup trying to go and achieving nothing or is it just that you have not seen it go? Either way get it checked, rather be wrong than sorry.
