Norty Het!! He gets it from me dontcha know Our short holiday in Rosthwaite was great and the Royal Oak Hotel was very accomodating for Sparky and ourselves, thanks for the tip. Defo return but may try Patterdale next year, (the Swan Hotel has a nice public bar )

Jackview: I was hoping he'd calm down a bit but if yours is still running amok at 12 years then I've no chance!

Patterdale Fan: yes he's absolutely full of fun and can be a bit too much at times but I wouldn't change a bit of him.

Thanks again everyone for your lovely comments and Vicki; it's nice to be back - on Dogweb I mean, not out here on the 'briny'.
