Bodhi, Wonder Dog!

My name is Bodhi. I was born on the 1st of September 2005. I am a pedigree Heinz 57

My mum is called Merle, she is a colle/springer/lab. Dad, Bilbo, is a staffy/boxer.

This is mum, Merle:

Merle (mum) had a massive 13 puppies including me, of which, only 10 survived, depsite mum's best efforts, and some round the clock hand-feeding for those weak ones

Still, ten is a lot of puppies to choose from, so how did Anna go about picking me?

Well, she sat with us puppies eveyweek from when they were born. She HAD decided she would like a little boy, but once I could get up and walk, I decided to be a cheeky muppet and went to Anna tried pawing at her to play with me, even though all my brothers and sisters were fast asleep!!

One I had picked her, it was the LONGEST wait in the world before I could go home with her!! Luckily, she would visit every week!

I was sooooo cute when I was a baby:

Finally the day came and I could go home. I look like butter wouldn't melt in my mouth... Well, looks CAN be deceiving

Those first couple of weeks, if I am honest, were HARD work. Adjusting to my new home, and stressing mum out. But we soon got over it and began to bond

I grew reeeeaaally FAST! Within a couple of weeks I was almost double the size!

I have become FIRM friends with Ozzy, the cat!!

I am having great fun in life, and experiencing all things possible. Snow, I have discovered is LOTS of fun!!

I don't think I'm very photogenic - and sometimes end up looking like a bat/dog/gremlin hybrid But I think it could just be mum's rubbish photography!

We are very lucky to still be in touch with mum, and the rest of the family, who we have met up with for the odd walk!

I am learning more every day, my new trick is catch.

I have also learnt that smiling shows my mum just how happy I am.. It seems to make her go all gooey and proud of me

I will add more here as I grow and discover new things in the world!!
