Newmann's Dog Food is it a good choice?

Newmann's Dog Food - Is it a good choice?

My little 4 pound Yorkie is a very picky eater. Every now and then, his pet food has to be changed to keep his interest. I was wondering what your thoughts are on Newmann's Dog Food. He seems to like it, but I wonder how healthy it is.

Your comments are appreciated.

Thank you for replying. Newman's Own Organics is made with organic Chicken and Turkey and these ingredients are from the label of their Chicken and Brown Rice Formula.

Organic Chicken
Sufficient water for processing
Ocean whitefish
Brown Rice
Carrots
Organic Turkey
Oat Bran
Flaxseed
Tricalcium Phosphate
Dried Kelp
Guar Gum
Carrageenan
Potassium Chloride
Cobalt Amino Acid Chelate
Copper Amino Acid Chelate
Manganese Chloride
Vitamins E, A, B12
D3 Supplements
Thiamin Mononitrate
Biotin Riboflavin Supplement

Crude Protein 8.0% min
Crude Fat 6.0% min
Crude Fiber 1.0% max
Moisture 78.0%max

You can see the rice and carrots and the food has a nice texture to it. It smells a bit like Tuna or fishy, but Benji seems to like it.

I don't remember how much it was, but I am guessing under $3.00USD for a large can. With a Yorkie, that can gan go a long way.

I've never heard of it either but I guess I'm the wrong side of the pond!
It seems very high in moisture, I would think it better to go higher in actual substance and less water. It certainly wouldn't be of use to any working sled dogs as the protein is far too low but perhaps it is suitable for yorkies?? It just seems alot of money for a tin of, what appears to be, mostly water.
