If u can find a cane corso that is well bred, and you took the best and compare it to last pick of a fine bandog breeding... it would not even come close in power, teeth, personality, obedience, jumping ability, reliablity, bite, hips, and defence...
This is because the person who bred the bandog had access to some of the best in the world... together with training them on the highest level... and sellectively breeding instead of profit breeding... the ultimate working, family, and campanion dog will come out of that breeding...

The american bulldog can be fine ... and some have out crossed to superior dogs to create good teeth, endurance, and hips... but these are only some of the breeders who offer supperior American bulldogs... which still wouldnt compare on some levels to a well bred bandog... like in jumping, running, endurance...

Prero de presa can be well bred... but personality, intelligence, endurance, niceness... dosnt compare to a well bred bandog...
WHAT IS A WELL BRED ADDOG... WHAT DO I MEAN? ARE THESE JUST WORDS? SEE FOR YOURSELF...

ANCIENT BREEDS ONLY BEST TO BEST...

ANCIENT HAS SOME OF THE BEST BANDOGGES AROUND...
Ancient made clear from the outset however, that these puppies are not for sale. Both parents were over 4 years of age, already hip-tested and had been evaluated prior to this breeding. This post is in part, intended to share information with those familiar with Judo before he came over to Europe.

The Parents

Working Class Kennels' Judo
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/4...16109QaM3DNs18
Introduction:Judo is a prime example of Working Class Kennels' lineage, with a deep and respected working ancestry behind his pedigree from one of the few bandogge breeders producing health-tested dogs with working accomplishments (titles such as SCH and competitive accolades such as IPDL). He comes from a tremendous litter between Lucero's Mugsy and Lucero's Knuckles that produced siblings such as Billy, Curly, Buu and Ruby. In addition, he is related to other famous dogs such as Barney, Maggie and Kaino. Interested parties can visit www.bandog.tv for more pictures of these dogs, or visit www.hulkdogs.com to see how Working Class assisted Industrial Light and Magic in the recent film "Hulk". He has been trained in the past by the likes of Tom Richie in the U.S, and has continued to train at a high level in Europe under top helpers from Greece and the UK.

Summary:
Gender: Male
Height: approx. 71.1cm / 28"
Weight: approx. 56KG / 125IBs
Hips: Rated OFA-Good, HD-free.

Judo is a big, powerful, male typical of that produced by WCK. He has dark-brown eyes, tail is docked and ears cropped.
Calm, attentive, self-assured. Exhibits very good bite-work and obedience, with high responsiveness to "outs". Seemingly insensitive to distractions. Has a hard mouth resulting in solid, full and confident grips. Speed is impressive for size, as is wind. When worked and driven he demonstrates balance and control of his feet. Size and substance lends itself to high-impact suspect apprehensions, yet he still demonstrates the quickness and agility to corner even evasive and nimble helpers.

Kalma
http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/4...16109QaM3DNs18
Introduction: Kalma is somewhat of a rarity. Though relatively few are breeding these dogs for work in the modern day, amongst those who are, 'extreme' males can be found for breeding purposes if one knows where to look. It is far more difficult to find similarly 'extreme' females that are suited to the foundation of a breeding programme. Foundation females are no less important than foundation males, after several years of intensive testing, Kalma has qualified herself as one of these suitable few. Time has not just been used to assess her progress, but to seek-out and evaluate siblings and other relatives to ensure quality exists beyond the individual. What is strking about Kalma is her 'switch'. She can be as sweet natured around 'good guys' as she can be hard on bad guys.

Summary:
Gender: Female
Height: approx. 64.7cm / 25.5"
Weight: approx. 38KG / 83.6IBs
Hips: Rated A-, HD-free.

Good size and power. Brown eyes, tail is intact, ears cropped. Very calm, attentive and self-assured. Very good bite-work with total focus upon the helper. Insensitive to distractions. Very good obedience. Highly responsive to "outs". Hard mouth resulting in full and confident grips. Enough size, speed and substance to deliver high-impact suspect apprehensions with the quickness and agility of a much smaller dog. Proven capable of cornering the most evasive and nimble of helpers.

Trainer's Summation: "She can take tons of pressure. Actually this is what she likes the most ...to find fight-worthy decoys. Her reactive aggression has to be seen ...(simply) off the charts prey drive. She is a female that could be trained to be a crazy prey drive dog or a crazy fight (drive) dog or a crazy defensive dog. Speed and reflexes are of Malinois quality"

The Progeny

...or should that be prodigies? Pictured below are the resultant pups from this breeding. To re-iterate once again, these puppies are not for sale.

If we all insist on reproducing only well bred dogs... these dog lines will carry on greatness as long as people carry on the vision of original breeders...
good luck to all the people trying to help ... by reproducing only the best of the best...

Rather off-topic TD, no? The discussion was undershot/overshot jaws.

hi Topdog
i think you are trying to push your breed a little to much now. we all have the breed we have for our own reason. its great that bandogs are bred best to best but that dont mean that other breeds are not. stop having a go at other breeds as not all bandogs are the best!!

'Boxer Show Characteristics - They have an undershot jaw, that is the lower jaw protrudes moderately beyond the upper jaw and bends slightly upward. '

Really? Have you met any superior bred bandogs in england? Dave uk has some great ones... Have you met any of those other breeds that have proven themselves and dont have health prolems with teeth, hips, endurance???
I would like to see some documented dogs that can compete and perform on that level... What am I going on about??
Well I just got 2 new pups ... check out the parantage and training and documentation done on these dogs. I can tell you for a fact they were among the very best in the world...

TD this topic was not started so that you could promote your breed, a specific question was asked, and you have turned it into a debate on the "excellent" breeding of your own dogs. IMO

Off topic again TD. The discussion was under/overshot jaws.

No one breed is superior to another. We are all justifiably proud of our dogs.
