But I just saw this when going through the UK newspapers and it has brought such a grin to my face!

He used to be in EastEnders. The illegitimate son of whosit - Dirty Den - the one who ran the pub? Married the adopted daughter Sharon and then got killed by norty people?

Apparently even though some people found it insulting Simon though it was great.

And I think it was FABULOUS!
