A very sad story

Just sat down for a cup of coffee at the doggie restaurant after our morning walk, and started to read the paper when I saw this sickening story.


"A puppy was killed by having its legs taped together and mouth sealed with tape, and was thrown off a motorway bridge into trafic. It was a Lab x"

What sort of sickoes are these people. They are the scum of the earth.

They deserve the same treatment they gave that poor puppy

Sadly that won't happen though

I don't understand why the laws aren't the same for people who injure animals as people who injure people. I understand animals are considered second class citizens compared to humans, but only a sick demented individual would injure an animal, therefore, they should be held to the same standard...

I've just read about this in the sun newspaper, they are giving out a 1000.00 reward to anyone who has any info that leads to a conviction.

What type of convictions do you get in the UK for that? Here, animal abuse and endangerment is only a misdemeanor, which equates to a slap on the wrist...

think its being banned from owning animals for a certain amount of time, large fine.... etc....

Yeah its very sad. I saw the link to the article on another forum.

I also read an article about a jealous girlfriend killing her boyfriends dog. A little cute dachshund. It was drowned by a friend of hers.

It was the dog she was jealous of!!!!! Why are people so sick? And then she pretended to be sad, cried with the boyfriend and mourned the disappearence (sp?) of the dog. And she new exactly where the dog was - in the boot of her friends car! Needless to say, the pair are no longer together

unfortunatly you tend to find that people that hurt or kill animals do not stop there they then go on to hurt, maim ,or even kill people it is a sad evil world we live in.
