Books for beginners

ive been looking at some raw feeding books on amazon, after thinking about putting one in my puppy pack, so the new owners at least have some information on raw feeding, so if they want to read it they can, they arent expensive on amazon at the minute, and i would feel better in myself knowing i have given them something to read, with pups being weaned onto half raw, that if they did continue to feed raw, they would have some info.

now i havent read the books im thinking of putting in. i read Ian Billinghurt's book, but im not putting those in when they are £17 a pop.

ive looked at:

"work wonders-feed your dog raw meaty bones" by Tom Lonsdale

and:

"natural nutrition for dogs and cats" by Kymythy Schultze

have any of you read these? which ones would you recommend for a beginner in raw feeding?

I would recommend the following books in the following order of accessability.

I think the Work Wonders is too political and may turn some owners off.

Books (in order of simplicity/accessibility)

• Switching to Raw by Sue Johnson
• Natural Nutrition for Dogs and Cats by Kymythy Schulze CCN
• Raw & Natural Nutrition for Dogs by Lew Olson PhD
• The Barf Diet by Ian Billingshurst B.V.Sc (Hons)
• Give your Dog a Bone by Ian Billingshurst B.V.Sc (Hons)
• Grow your pups with Bones by Ian Billingshurst B.V.Sc (Hons)
• Work Wonders by Tom Lonsdale (vet)
• Raw Meaty Bones by Tom Lonsdale (vet)

have read them both and thought both were easy to read. Kymthy's probably the better of the two.
