Apparently I'm a jinx .... sorry Man U

OH is a huge United supporter.

Everytime I go to work at the weekends when the football is on United are winning.
No matter how late in the game when I come home, the other side score.
So tonight I come in with ages to go, and do I hear 'Welcome home sweetheart'? No!
I hear 'No!!!!, not now sweetheart, can't you go into the office for half an hour or something?

Well I'm sorry, Arsenal scored twice, its not my fault honest!

Btw, the fact my great Uncle was on the Titanic (and still is) is purely un-related!

My OH is now sitting there repeating 'Every.... Single....Time!'

I said 'You're not going to tell Sir Alex about me are you?'
He said 'I already have, you'd better watch your brakes next time you go out!'

OH says he's with you on that one.

The thing is if I'm not working it's fine. He doesn't like it if I don't watch the football. I buy the beer, make the spare ribs, put the tv outside in the summer so we can barbeque and watch at the same time. I buy all the football shirts..... hey I even bought him Eric Cantona's shirt!

It just goes all wrong when I work weekends
