Found a dog walking group

Someone in the community is trying to arrange meet ups and walks for those with friendly dogs who'd like to walk with others. So Spencer and I are going along tomorrow and we'll see how it goes from there. We've met a few dogs while out and about who have been friendly but dog walkers seem few and far between at the moment.

Thanks, it's been years since I've been able to walk with other people and their dogs. I need to get over the anxiety when we see another dog really, I don't want it rubbing off on Spen. He's friendly and I'd rather like him to stay that way if possible. I will be taking the camera, whether I'll get a chance to use it is another matter lol.

good luck to you but i avoid dog walking groups as in my experience they spend that much time chatting that the dogs are just doing what the hell they want.

Well all I can do is go along and see how things are. I need to get over the whole "omg, a dog, panic!" thing and Spen could do with some good experiences since the only dogs we see on a day to day basis are the aggressive ones. Even if it turns out big group walks aren't for us chances are I can arrange to meet up with just one or two for walks occasionally.

Quite frankly, I'm more interested in keeping an eye on my dog than chit chat anyway
