My cat is missing.

Bruno my 16 yr old cat has gone missing he has been in most nights due to fireworks, but asked to go out Friday (early hours) and I haven't seen him since.
This is not like him he is usually sitting in the back porch on top of Ollies freezer by 7 am waiting for his breakfast and to then go upstairs in the spare room and sleep till tea time.
I searched for him Friday afternoon with Ollie, calling his name he calls back when he hears my voice nothing then I went out at 7pm with the torch looking in all the hedges and ditches and Gorden went round the estate at 9pm. Am letting Neighbours know as I see them just to make sure he isn't in anyones shed or garage he doesn't usually go in places he isn't sure of and have called all the Vets today in Harlow the RSPCA the cat sanctuary up the road and the council in case he wandered onto the road and has been knocked down.
Each day he is missing I get more worried. Its the not knowing where he is and if he is hurt and laying somewhere he hates fireworks and he is too old to be out in this cold wet weather.

oh, Hun, I'm so sorry to hear this, I can imagine it must be so awful not knowing what has happened to him.

Hopefully he's enjoying a bit of comfort in one of your neighbours homes...as well as talking to people, can you put some posters up round the area?

Fingers crossed that you find him safe and well very soon and hugs to you in the meantime xx

Thank you he isn't likely to be in anyone else's house he is nervous of people we rescued him as a kitten as he was being abused.
He is neutered so we know he isn't chasing the ladies.

The RSPCA have done something and the vets have logged details and if any cat comes in similar they will contact me, but I tried www.catlost.co.uk and it didn't work so I suppose not.

So sorry to hear this but am sure he will make his way back to you soon.
Even though you say this is unlike him, he may have just gone for a wander and will find his way home.

I know you must be really worried ((hugs))
