Trimming, not shaving a GSD

Is it okay to trim, not shave, a GSD so her tummy, legs, and tail don't get so muddy in this season? 😊

Hi annoellyn I would not cut the coat of a GSD in any way, a daily grooming should remove loose coat and brush out dry dirt and dust .
Muddy legs and tummy are best washed and yes I know it is a chore, I have to wash my dog's legs after every walk at the moment and I keep a bowl/ bucket/towels ready in the garage for this purpose.
