I am so, so, pleased for you. It is a wonderful feeling when you see all your hard work & dedication is making a difference. She will keep improving now, but continue taking things slowly.

Not silly at all. In fact I would say that you have probably interpreted her body language very acurately. Allowing a stranger to stroke her shows that she does trust you not to put her into harmful situations & that if you indicate that something is safe she will trust your judgement.

Very happy to help Gems, and thank you, BUT it is you who have, and are, putting in the work which I know needs patience, patience & more patience. You should be very proud of yourself, as well as of Purdey.

Your reaction to the walkers was spot-on - absolutely textbook stuff, and it paid off in spades! I am just so very delighted that it is beginning to come together for both of you

I Nearly panicked when i saw them, but purdey picks up how im feeling so i just remained calm and started talking to her, i swear she understands every word i say, she just always looks right in my eyes, we seem to understand each other.

I think having the two confident dogs there helped as they were being petted by the walkers.

Purdey is just a fantastic dog, i just want to do all i can to help her.
