Today

Unbelievable. Sue went into Eastbourne shopping at all the supermarkets. A girl on one checkout said people were queueing at 3am for the shops to open at 6am. She said to Sue she was fed up with taking stuff out of baskets as they had over the limit, such as 6 bottles of milk when the limit was 2.
As Ben our son leaves here around 5 am Sue was there very early but not early enough it seems

This is all down to the government saying about staying indoors for "x" number of weeks, As for keeping apart did you see them siting side by side in the House of Commons? like bloody sardines they were packed in so tight.

Good morning Moura and all. who follow

Hope you stay safe Harvey

As Barry said I was out early and still not a lot in. Tesco did have frozen veg (bit late for me)and I managed to get some breakfast cereal. Managed two bags of rice from Morrisons and some sausages in Sainsburys. again no flour so how are you meant to bake your own stuff Also no pasta. Oh well we will manage and if they don't like it they can do the shopping!

Hope all are well

Have a good day and stay safe.

Morning Moyra, Barry, Sue and all to follow.
Dull and breezy here today.

Oh dear Sue I find this having to pop from shop to shop a bit frustrating but has to be done and then to find to can't get what you need anyway.

Michael will not be having his tooth out tomorrow dentist shut and the medic doing it is working in the hospital.
He says it's ok for now.
He went shopping in Madrid yesterday said it wasn't to bad shelves fairly well stocked there.

Paul and Beth were coming today for lunch but Beth cancelled yesterday.
We are going to mark and lauren's Sunday for Mothers day lunch combined with my Birthday and also Lauren's mum and stepdad.
Mark been in touch are we still going so we have said yes as long as we are all still the same as today and nothing changes.

Hope everyone is well today and all four legged friends to.

Good morning all.

Been to work and surprised me how many people were out and about in BQ quite a few people said sticking up on diy things if they have to self isolate so makes sense.

I am buying compost earlier than I normally do may even start off some toms or lettuce "GROW YOUR OWN" may be my motto.

Not going near a supermarket or shop. Loving the idea of the elderly having free reign from tomorrow so

Sue could be your option send TW as you will not reach the criteria LOL

Moyra You to stay safe and well

Lynn You have to be careful but equally you have to live your life. So hope Sunday goes well and Michaels tooth behaves and toes the line in regard to none emergency surgery.

Think our shops will return to reasonable normality soon this has scared people. I havea friend who has always been "end of the World coming"£ type of bloke he has food and various other items from brake pads to light bulbs, wind up radios to generator in his various named supplies "SARS booty" "end of World" "Brexit stash" he has since the first whisper from China started his "Contra Virus stash"

Yes, people have never faced this type of situation, even in war time.

The younger generation are also more prone to panic, and as we have said before this younger generation seem to be all about me, me, me

I had a discussion with my consultant on Monday, he was not happy with some of the actions from the government and the NHS, he is the proffessional and working every day in the Macmillan clinic so he knows better than I do what is going on. But I did say to him "If we are sitting here in March 2021 do you think anyone will be talking about it (For me a more relevant question is of course will I be sitting here in March 2021)
