Help Please, its my Dog

Help! Okay, My dog is a Sheepdog mix, and weighs right at 100lbs

He has been chewing holes in the fence lately and getting out. He only walks the fence line because our other dog wont go with him. I need to keep him, but will a shock collar work? under $80?

That's a big dog.
Ours is 80 lbs and we think he is big. We walk him six to ten miles a day. They are active dogs and need that IMHO.

Have you thought about running chicken wire stapled to the inside of the fence. It puts most dogs off, but be sure to watch him to make sure he's not one of those adamant chewers that metal doesn't put off.

In a nutshell - no. Chris's suggestion is a good one.

I'd double fence the garden, put a sturdy chainlink fence inside the wooden one, something much sturdier than chicken wire.
