New Job!!!!!!

I have just had official confirmation that I have got a new job!!!!

I went for the interview about 6 weeks ago so it seems like an age.

Can't wait to hand my notice in tomorrow.

Roll on 1 December when I will no longer work for a profit focused bank and will be working for a charity close to my heart.

The champagne is in the ice bucket

It's the RNIB Elaine, my son was born with cataracts and has always had a serious visual impairment. This charity was my rock in his early years so it will be great to give something back.

Brilliant news! Congratulations, though they are the clever ones in picking you for the job, you sound perfect, someone with a passion for that charity.

Thanks Wishbone, I'm really looking forward to it, I'm fed up of the cut throat banking business where customer care is way down the list of priorities.

Thanks Sheree I'm sure that it will be hard (I've been in the same role for 10 years and I'm going to something completely new) but the rewards will be endless.
