It started snowing here at about 2.30 this afternoon...when I took Leon out at 5 it had settled and was like a blizzard...and freezing. It has laid and is still snowing, but the flakes aren't as big as they were.

Clive has been called out to an emergency...although I like to see the snow its at times like this that I worry about what chaos it can cause.

You wouldn't if you lived here! Ferries cut off (so shops all empty), blocked roads, closed airport, shut schools and flippin' power cuts - in fact, the end of any vague semblance of civilisation. Makes you want to polish the rust off your battleaxe and go slay a politician or two.

Am I the only party pooper as I hate snow. I like it in pictures but i hate trying to walk the dogs and slipping all about on the pavement and trying to drive on roads where it has compacted and frozen.
Its damn cold here but luckily no snow, so you all enjoy it and please keep it all there with you, I do NOT want any of you sending any this way

There was some snow here when I got up this morning, but after I had done all the stuff I needed to do and got ready to take the girlies out, it had all gone
