Poor little soldier, I hope his itching soon subsides, this is the first year that Tyler hasn't had to have piriton, (he's got a grass allergy), probably didn't have it this year as we don't have any grass left, just dusty mud

Bless his little heart when the other dogs all coverged on him, hemust have wondered what on earth was happening, good job he's not too big for you to pick him up, imagine if he was as heavy as Lynn's Ollie

Big hugs for him from me and the gang xxx

Thanks Sheree and Tracy.
I've just done a test "scratch" down his back, and he ignored me! YAY! Looks like that injection did him the world of good.

Aww poor Lennon, there's nothing worse than sore, itchy skin, must be awfully uncomfortable for him

Glad to hear the injection has worked, wonder what causes it? That's the problem with these things, it could be a million and one causes and it is sooo difficult to track down exactly what it is. Hope it doesn't bother him next year

Thanks Anne-Marie - but it probably will - it's a yearly thing. He's back to normal now, and he's only been on the tablets for three days - I have a whole months worth

I hoped it wouldn't reappear this year, but it has.

As the vet has had most of my salary lately, I'm resisting a visit.

I'm tempted to give him some anti-histamine.

What do you think?

Thanks

Awww...bless. Have you tried bathing them in that Episooth Shampoo that Aitch recommended for me to use on Cassie. Hyperdrug sell it and it works really well for her. That and the sudocrem have sorted out Cassie's hot spots. The vet said hers seemed to be allergy related due to grass etc at this time of year too. xx Hope they get some relief soon
