Dont forget your fire walls people, they stop people accessing your computer, anti virus is just that. Zone alarm is the best on the market for free at the moment It has won awards and stuff and has excellent reviews.

AVASTI is BRILLIANT ! Its totally free off the internet for home use ( not for business use) Ive paid for 3 different other anti-virus packages and they were all rubbish. Avasti also send u free upgrades- Ive used it now for over a year and I cannot fault it

I've gotten rid of Norton cause when i went to renew my subscription-they now want 35 euros per year so now i use NTL's own free anti-virus,anti-spyware & firewall software called 'Net guard' which appears to be doing a good job!

I use Mcafee Internet Security suite, and so far I haven't had any trouble with it. I've got that much security on the PC's, I'm surprised I can get on the things

funny you should say that- I had McAfee for a few months- paid for a year- after a while I couldnt even get onto the internet- it was so "good" that it blocked everything so i un-installed it and got Avasti free from the net.
