Peeing on the carpet

I have a 5 month old golden retiriever. she was potty trained and then started peeing on the carpet. she has and uses a dog door to go outside all the time. as soon as we leave she continues to pee in the same area. I have tried re-training, the enzyme removal, vinegar, shampooing the area. she knows she does wrong as soon as we come home she hides....how can I stop her pls help

is it just when she is left? if not i would get her urine checked, if it is when just left she has SA (separation anxiety) you could try a DAP plug in. As for returning to the same spot, you really need to soak the area as the urine will soak through the carpet, into the underlay and so she may still be able to smell it, if you google it i think it is biological washing powder disolved in water in quite a strong solution...thoroughly soak the area and the smell should go, i used it on cat pee in a carpet and it worked

How long is she left? Can she hold it that long??

Once that is ruled out, try putting her bed or food/water over the area she is using.
