Cold Night!

Came in from out and thankful to be alive as had to drive into a low glaring sun and could barely see the road at times. Terrifying.

Bitter cold now.. shivers! Snuggled with one cat and the other will be in later...They are forecasting hard frost tonight..

I hate driving in low sun. Its horrible.

I did treat my car to a frost shield thingy. I'm fed up of spending half an hour de-icing the windscreen!

So cold I put Gelert in his coat to walk him just now. It's only the second time in his life he's ever worn one. He really did seem to appreciate it!

Had to rescue Bandit at lunch, put him in his equafleece and bring him down to the staff kennels because they are heated. More Malcolm got left behind in the cold unheated kennel at my house but he has a lovely thick coat so I wasn't worried about him!

I on the other hand was wrapped up like some kind of Eskimo. The cold wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't in the form of a biting wind!

Glad you got home safely, it's a nightmare driving into a low sun in the winter and not much you can do about it, and it's even worse driving in a low sunRISe in the mornings when the roads are icy, you can't see a blooming thing.

Not too cold down South yet, no winds, no rain, no nothing......yet!

Yeah I heard that too. You guys on the East coast always seem to get hit first though. So not sure it will be heavy here.

It's gone very cold here too... and I think this winter is meant to be one of the worst in a long time - coldest in 100 years minus 20

Hope not!
