deff leaves it open for a sequel

Personally I didnt hate it but it was a 7/10 at best for me

If you have to choose I would say go see the Avengers and get this on DVD

It was only ok. I'd never see it a second time. I still love the original Alien film and I thought Aliens was pretty good. Everything after that was heinous. If there's a sequel to Prometheus then I'll send the OH on a boys night out to see it.

In a possible sequel way. Dont expect it to be a prequel to the Alien films! Although it's set in the Alien universe it doesnt really explain much about their origins. Or the crash landing of the spacejockey on LV 426

I went to see it last night and to be honest, it was abit of a let down.
It seemed to have the story line of about three classic films, the acting athough not bad wasn't great, and i didn't care very much about who lived or died by the end.
Nothing was explained leaving it open to another one no doubt.I would save your money and wait for the dvd.

I saw it last week and I thought it was pretty good and that it explained quite a lot .
The only thing i felt wasn't clear was what the ship was doing on that planet in the first place, I didn't think it had crashed at all though
