My eldest daughter has broken her arm. We were at the hospital last night.

OK. Last night eldest daughter came home form school. She had stayed for choir rehearsal. Whilst waiting for her lift she and a friend decided to go on a see-saw. She then decided to ring me as they were running late. Whilst I was speaking to her she fell off.

To cut a long story short she arrived home in pain and it seemed different to a normal bang/sprain. Off we toddled to A&E. Several hours later we finally saw the x-ray. A little chip off from the side, near the wrist. A quite good break apparently so it should sort itself out quite quickly. We are back to the hospital tomorrow to visit the fracture clinic.

I will keep you informed.

Whoops!
that'll teach her to keep both hands on the see-saw.

I'm sure she'll be fine (and will probably lap up all the attention)...its probably worse for you.

Oh dear!!

Is it her writing hand?? I would think that she will heal very quickly. My daughter broke her elbow quite badly when she was six, had a pot on & pins in & was back to normal in about 6 weeks. Mind you, she broke her writing arm and got so used to using her other she had problems going back to using her original!!

Anyway, best wishes for a speedy recovery .....and better balance on a see saw
