It's sods law aint it

I fitted a new pipe and drain gully from the roof 2 weeks ago, it's never rained since all I want to do is hear the rain water running down the drain after all my hard work.

You know the dogs are going to be looking at you like you've gone mad don't you? Wouldn't it have been easier and drier to run the hose pipe in the guttering and listen to that?

You can have outs as well big man. the dogs look like drowned rats and the pups are stranded indoors.
Never mind watching and listening to the rain get working on the Boobie Wagon or else

You just know that Denis is going to be sitting in his little chair next to the drain pipe singin 'Insey Winsey Spider' don't you? I can picture it now, right down to the hand signals that go with it.
