Error 404

Does anyone know what this means please. It says on the computer The requested URL/mail/help Int was not found on this server.

I haven't a clue what it means can anyone help thanks.

just means the site doesnt exist

its very common, its nothing to do with your computer

Here's one. On my little web server, there's not a page called no_page so the server returns a 404 error. Simple as!

Interestingly, Dogsey handles the same issue in a slightly friendlier way. Try this link: http://www.dogsey.com/no_page.html

IME it usually means the server`s down - try later. Or that the site is discontinued.

Thanks for your reply, would that have been someone else trying to obtain a broken link or would it have come from me? Someone in South Africa was instant messaging me on Gmail would that have anything to do with it as this message comes up every time I log out from gmail?

Odd! I use Gmail etc. myself and have never seen a 404. Maybe try clearing your browser cache & cookies etc.
