Silly Sunday 16th April 2023

Morning all. Hope you have a good day. Grey here but not cold. Hope the sun shines for you all and you get to do whatever you want to do. I hope none of you suffer from Ennui today.

Good morning Brenda hope you have a good day

Hope the news is good for your friend Kazz

Sunnyish this morning. Towels and bedding washed and on the line, Teazle walked and preping lunch. Eldest son, Pau,l and I went over to Ben's last night and didn't get home until midnight so I am having a rather lazy day today

Take care everyone

Morning brenda, muddy, Sue and all to follow.
Lovely warm day today.
Seen a car we like 47 miles away but we have things to do today, sitting Freya tomorrow and off to our friends Pam and Pete in Yorkshire on Tuesday till at least Friday possibly Saturday, so we will have to wait to see if it's still there when we come back.
Not in a particular hurry so if it's gone it's gone.

Kazz hoping your friend is recovering well and glad you managed some sleep.
Chris if like me they won't have made what you have in mind yet.
griff hows the car search for Steve going ?
Sue glad you are having a restful day today.
brenda have you had a nice walk yet today ?

Afternoon all
I shall Google that in a sec Brenda
Sue, stick your feet up and let someone else look after you!
Hi muddy
Lynn, don't!!!! He is driving me nuts, I found a 2010 306 sport up at £2500 so I would get that for £2300, nope... doesn't want that, it's only got 71k on the clock
I had words with him yesterday and then my phone started pinging early on....I looked and he was getting details of a car and an address, next thing I called him, have you done a hpi check...no! He gave me the reg and it wasn't adding up £12 for a check, then I rechecked the reg ..I misheard so put in what I thought he said...another £12 then that was wrong, so I tried again and the rac couldn't recognise the reg! So I went via a different company but bought 5 tests for £14.99. sooooo, Steve went off to see the car, wasn't sure of the area so I said I would get the postcode off the message, the guy had messaged back and said Steve would have to see the car another time as he was going out!!! One pee'd off Steve, one very pee'd off me having spent a fortune on car checks. He has said he can't be bothered to deal with the guy now.... taking it as a sign not to buy the car as we ignored it last time....sigh!

Ooooh griff that's a lot of money to hpi check. Didn't realise it was that much.
brenda glad you enjoyed your walks and anything involving a hoover and duster is housework in my book.

It's £14 on the rac but as my dad's a member I get it down to £12, obviously the reg was wrong twice....£24 and then the last one I got five checks for £14.99. it is just so I can check the chassis number, ensure there's no finance outstanding, log book loans and ensure no mileage discrepancy. I guess to most people £3000 for a car isn't a lot but Steve won't ever get that much money together again....so can do without the hassle of it getting repossessed etc

£3000 is a lot of money so worth doing the checking.
