RIP my friend's dog Loki

Just heard, my friend Margaret has a Malamute who she had rescued at 2 years old. Loki. He had some behavioural issues which she had been working with various trainers trying to get through them. Mostly she had succeeded.

However, he had aggression issues, dog aggression for the most part. Occasionally though, he went for people. Maybe once or twice in the last two years, both times were down to the other people not observing the rules round him. The last one last year was a guy who leaned over the garden fence and got near her daughter even though the guy had been told not to do this. However today. He went for Margaret's brother without reason and bit him.

So today Margaret had to take the difficult decision to put Loki to sleep. He was a big beautiful boy and I know how hard Margaret worked with him and with trainers trying to work through all his issues.

RIP Loki, run free son.

A sad story Lorraine. Must of been a very difficult decision for your friend after all the hard work.
At least Loki was given a chance and given love in his short life.

Run free Loki.

So very sorry Lorraine - but your friend Margaret did all she could to help her beloved Loki and sometimes the kindest thing is to give them peace.

Run free Loki - run free as fast as you can xx

How sad and what a dreadful situation for your friend to find herself in . I hope her brother was OK but a sensible decision it seems was made.

Run free Loki who is now at peace.
