"Introducing Peter O'Toole"

OK, so the thread title tells you that this is no new film. In fact, it was released in 1962, but I've just picked it up for £3.99 (a 2-disc set) in our local CD/DVD shop sale -

LAWRENCE OF ARABIA

This may well be an oldie, but, by Jove, it's a goodie. Of course, having David Lean (now Sir David Lean) as its director, you'd expect nothing less - the same chap as gave you Dr Zhivago and Bridge on the River Kwai.

It's fine to see O'Toole and Omar Sharif looking so young, and the photography is simply stunning. There is a superb camel charge, as well and the music is great.

This DVD is a restoration, done by a team including Steven Spielberg, and it looks like new. Highly recommended!
