Thank you all for your kind words

Just got off the phone to my vet, he is pleased with Bandits progress, slight change in his disposition,

Responding well to the medication, so hopefully the problem is more gastric than blockage, will know more when bloods come back.

H e is staying in the vets tonight for monitoring and fluid intake.

Hopefully I can bring him home tomorrow and we wont have to go down the route of surgery (for any blockage) I really held off for that , young vet wanted to operated this morning, but I spoke to my usually vet , and he agreed, that it was best to see how he goes for a few hrs, must admit have worried over that all day, in case I made the wrong call hopefully I did not.

thanks again, will update when I get any news.

Good news at last then Jackie. I know he'snot quite out of the woods yet, but sounds like he's getting there. All you can do now is play the waiting game and trust in them that they're doing their very best which I'm sure they are. I'm so glad they didn't have to go in, let's hope it stays that way and you get him home tomorrow. I know how you must feel, all this stress and worry really takes it out of you doesn't it, but he'll be fine now I'm sure.xxxx

Oh Jackie - I've only just read this, how awful for you and Bandit. What a very worrying time

I do hope he continues to show progress and can come home without having to have an op. Huge hugs to you - I know you'll have been worried sick

Healing vibes winging their way from us here xxx
