Natural Painkillers?

Anyone know of any alternative to Paracetamol or Ibuprofen?

I've had some stonking headaches these last few days and quite frankly I'm getting a bit sick of taking tablets.

I'm not a fan of taking them in the first place, so any ideas would be great!

Would asprin be better perhaps, with it originating from Willow bark?

Any suggestions?

Yeah I already know why, just on the waiting list for my open brain surgery. (Can you have "closed" brain surgery?? )

Thanks for the link though, I'll have a shufty.

I probably should go to the docs and get something stronger, I'm just one of those hypochondriacs that doesn't seek medical help!

There must be a term for one of those??

I would actually go to the doctors to see if there is a underlining problem.
You can't be to careful with heads. My OH is in hospital at the minute with a suspected bleed on his brain. Hes having a lumbar puncture this morning.
He was singing on Saturday night & his head went pop. Hes had a headache since.
So if it doesn't get any better, please get it checked out!

menthol is supposed to be quite good, try not to take too many tablets as this can erode your stomach lining!

OH is OK by the way! Its been a very scary experience. They can't get any fluid out of his spine as he has too many nerves in his back. They don't know where the bleed is coming from in his brain.
You just don't know what tomorrow brings! Make the most of everyday
