Do you leave your dogs alone together?

As the title asks... when you go out, do you leave the dogs out together? Do they get separated? Put back in crates?

Do your dogs ever fight?

(Especially people with one dog a lot larger/stronger than the other)

Do you ever worry about them fighting?

Ozzie and Coco are crated together now ..
Ozzie and Snoop were before as were Ozzie and Tia...

They travel in the car together also...

You were one of the people I was hoping would answer actually!

They never have any issues or a flight?

I am just concerned that something would happen with mine and with the mega size difference mine would have (like yours) - the consequences would not be good!

We separate our terriers from the bigger dogs when we go out. Tara(GSD) and Maisie(Yorkie) don't get on and are never together unsupervised.

The bigger dogs sometimes are in a room together that has a room divider that Tara and Polo will jump but Lady doesn't. If they need some space (particularly the bitches.) They do squabble but I wouldn't like to risk it escalating if we were out.

The terriers are left together but they never fight with each other.

I crate both my younger dogs separately, Ishka chews everything and I once left K out and she threw the couch cushions everywhere and went in the bin

Minnie is an angel and has run of the house

I only have one dog, but provided the dogs got on, I would.

When I had Paddy staying here, I left him and Jake alone together... they love each other, and get on famously so I didn't really think twice about.

Of course I think there can always be a chance that something could happen, but I think the positive that the dogs can get out of being left together can out weigh the risk. If that makes sense

Yes mine get left together and no I definitely don't worry about them fighting.

Maisiesmum - how come they don't get on? That is about the size difference there will be between the two I will have!

Ozzie grew up with Tia so was taught how to respect smaller dogs by her ..
He was deferential to her all the way and has continued with Coco , she gets away with murder ..

Tia > Ozzie is the size order mine will be in, so hopefully things work out as well as your two!
