6th November and still the fireworks go off

Zak is still refusing to go out at night time, he holds on till morning. Nothing i can do to persuade him to step outside. He just runs into his cage if i go near the door ( he feels safe in there).

When will they stop

I know how you feel Mel. Fudge will not go out now till tomorrow morning.I`m so hoping to get a peaceful evening tonight.I``ve tried bribery and coercion and nothing works.
Let`s hope they all stop soon.

Im fed up now, we have them going off now as I type.

I hate them I am lucky my two are okay with them but a few at work are saying their dogs hate them and stilll dont want to go out in the dark

I thaught there was only certain times they can be let off now?

I think it's about time the law changed so that the only fireworks going off were the public displays. At least with those you know when they start and finish and can plan accordingly. It's these ones that go off at all times of the evening, maybe one, maybe two, you just don't know where you are. My poor old Sadie is terrified, but I have to say she has been better this year with DAP infuser, collar and spray (!!!) plus drops of Rescue Remedy into her mouth, and television and radio on loud. Oh, how I love this festive time of the year!!!!!

Fireworks going off here too, Zak barking again. The thing is now it's done on new years eve as well so we have that to look forward to. I think it should be organized displays only but can you see the stink that supermarkets and shops are going to make they do a roaring trade with them.

It's quiet here at the moment, but isn't it Ramadan at the weekend? That usually starts them off again, plus, of course, they're half price today, so all the numpties will be buying them. Vet gave me some Diazepam for Roxy, so if they do start again, I can calm her down at least.....
