I'm so glad to read that the old boy is doing OK - Sadly I have to say that just recently Baruska has also started to look 'old' and has started refusing walks, or at best not going too far, it's made me think that she might not be with us this time next year but like Georgie boy I expect she'll soldier on, the vet checked her over yesterday and said much the same as your vet did so I'm like you, happy that (for now) things are good.
